Dave began his career as a Registered Representative and Licensed Insurance Counselor with American Express (Ameriprise). During his six-year tenure, he benefited from extensive training that helped him to understand what it meant to be a professional financial advisor. He was recognized as a member of the American Express Financial Advisors Silver Team from 1995 through 1997, representing the top 25% of advisors within the company.
Dave became an independent advisor in 1999. As an independent financial advisor, Dave helped his clients with detailed asset allocation, portfolio design, income and tax planning strategies for retirement. As an independent professional, Dave is fortunate in that he can work with any client to develop a specifically tailored plan that matches their goals, needs, and objectives.
With over a decade of experience on the corporate side of the financial services industry, Dave’s planning emphasizes the big picture. He draws from his previous background in the mortgage industry, as well as the tax and accounting world to craft a plan that factors in all aspects of an individual’s financial life. Furthermore, his time spent working with Thomson Reuters a afforded him the opportunity to work and gain more experience with C level corporate executives as well as some of the top accounting and law firms in the country.
